Palm Jumeirah is the first of Dubai's offshore island developments — opened to residents in the late 2000s by Nakheel as master-developer. Today it sits as a mature, fully built-out community on the trunk and 17 fronds, with branded operators (Atlantis, Anantara, Raffles, One&Only) anchoring the crescent and hospitality-led residences scattered through the fronds. Secondary-market activity is consistent across both the high-rise apartment stock and the signature villas. New supply is now driven by demolitions + plot rebuilds and select branded-residence releases, not master-developer launches.
